We anticipate another great event this year with six concurrent tracks of educational content and one keynote speaker. There will be an opportunity to earn up to 8 general CEU credits; 8 strategic management credits and 3 international credits. The tracks being offered this year include:
Business Acumen & Leadership: These sessions will help build and sharpen the general business knowledge and leadership capabilities needed by HR professionals to leverage their functional expertise in making business decisions, providing counsel to other functional executives, and participating at high levels of an organization.
HR & the Law: Whether in a union or nonunion workplace, HR professionals must understand critical legal issues that affect day-to-day business decisions. These sessions will highlight policies and practices and focus on key employment law issues that affect the way HR professionals conduct business.
Total Rewards: These sessions will focus on the broad span of topics ranging from the basics to leading edge topics in compensation, benefits and total rewards.
Talent Management: These sessions will help you maximize your focus on talent management including areas ranging from hiring, educating, coaching, development, to succession planning, employee surveys and assessments.
Talent Acquisition: (One Day) These sessions will showcase the latest recruiting sources, interviewing and onboarding techniques, as well as managing the challenges and needs of a multi-generational workforce.
Global: (One Day) These sessions focus on human resource related activities with global reach. Topics may range from the challenges of leading global teams, to a look at labor law around the world, to the movement and management of a global workforce.
HR & Technology: (One Day) These sessions discuss how technological tools can impact and improve your business in areas such as networking, HR administration, recruiting, and company communications.
Talent Transition: (One Day) As many organizations change and evolve today, the talent in the organization has to successfully transition along with it. These sessions will highlight trends and changes in employee assistance programs, outplacement services, severances, survivor management, as well as the legal implications of rightsizing.
