Sability CEO & Founder, Scott Brown, elected President of IHRIM Atlanta
ATLANTA, GA (Feb. 4, 2015) – Scott Brown, CEO & Founder of Sability, a leading human capital management (HCM) consultancy, has been elected president of IHRIM Atlanta, the Southeast chapter of the International Human Resources Information Management association.
Since 1980, IHRIM has been the leading membership association for HR information management professionals that blends education, collaboration and professional certification.
“My goals for this year will be to continue to build on the great foundation of speakers we had last year, while increasing membership,” Brown said. “In an increasingly virtual world, quality face-to-face networking opportunities become even more valuable. Our goal is to bring a great mix of management, practitioners, and vendors together for valuable information exchanges. On a personal note, I look forward to connecting with many practitioners in the Southeast I have worked with in the past, but have lost touch with over the years.”
For more than 20 years, Brown has been a consultant and innovator in optimizing the deployment of Human Capital Management and Workforce Management (WFM) systems. He is an advisory board member of HR.com’s Institute for Human Resources and board member of the Technology Executive Roundtable, a select association of Atlanta technology CEOs. He also served on the board of IHRIM Atlanta, and has conducted numerous presentations and webinars on cloud-based HCM and WFM architecture, integration, and deployment.
Brown received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and completed post-graduate work in Management Information Systems from Auburn University in Auburn, Ala.
