Paula Payroll landed her dream job overseeing payroll for her company. Everything seemed to be going smoothly until she noticed some strange timecard activity for one of the employees. Paula found punch data was mysteriously disappearing, leaving gaps in their records.
Determined to get to the bottom of the issue, Paula started combing through the company’s payroll history, finding that the employee recorded time every pay period. Unsure of how to proceed, Paula frantically reached out to Morticia Manager to ask who can assist with the vanishing punch data. After discussing the missing punches, Morticia asked for the employee’s name. Her eyes widened in shock when she heard the name Casper.
“Casper Cash!” Morticia screamed. “Casper is a ghost employee,” Morticia explained.
“He doesn’t actually exist!” Together, Paula and Morticia set out to eradicate Casper from the company’s payroll system. As they dug deeper, they realized they might need a true ghostbuster expert to determine if there were any other ghouls who had been siphoning off company funds.
