This organization moved to a new carrier to offer their Accident, Hospital Indemnity, and Critical Illness insurance. This required configuration of new deduction benefit plans and development of a new integration for their quickly approaching Open Enrollment (OE) session. Given the quick timeline, resources outside of UKG were required.
Sability, a certified UKG consulting partner, was engaged by the Carrier during the sales process. Once the deal closed, the work quickly started. The project kicked off just 24 days before the start of the customer’s OE. The file templates and process playbook that Sability and Carrier created allowed the customer to consolidate 12 plans from the previous carrier down to 5 and meet their OE deadline. In tandem, Sability worked with new Carrier and the customer to define interface file requirements to successfully build, test, and move the file into production in less than 30 days.
Because of the Carrier and Sability partnership, a benefit change that many clients see take several months to complete, was now done within weeks.
Due to the project success, the customer requested additional support from Sability for ongoing OE and Life Events.
