Sability and UKG: Putting People First

The collaboration with Aflac strengthens our partnership and purpose!

At UKG, their purpose is people—firmly believing in doing the right thing for their employees, their customers, and their communities. At Sability, we execute the UKG purpose through partnership. As a premier consulting partner of UKG, Sability improves the efficiencies of our mutual customers, improving the employee experience and resulting in happier employees that provide extraordinary service to their customers. Most recently, Sability and UKG have partnered with Aflac to improve customers’ benefit enrollment experience. This collaboration has grown into a successful partnership, and Aflac invited Sability and UKG to see firsthand the impact they are making with their long-time investments in Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders research.

Beyond Business: The Human Side of Sability

Sability’s relationships often extend beyond the business. In February, team members from Sability, Aflac, and UKG met in Atlanta to discuss important partnership plans for 2024, but the highlight of the trip was visiting the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. For nearly 30 years, Aflac has funded pediatric cancer and blood disorder research through the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, providing a beacon of hope for more than 2,800 children and young adults each year with blood diseases. The positive effects on the human side of business interactions is what continues to drive Sability and our partnership with UKG.

How the Sability Partnership Enhances the UKG Experience for Aflac Customers

UKG, Sability, and Aflac have forged a unique partnership that has led to improved service levels and time-to-live for UKG customers through a streamlined approach to the build and configuration of benefits carrier settings in the UKG product. Sability collaborated with Aflac to define a new process, along with streamlined templates and transfer files, that replaced a more complex custom process and cut configuration time from 32 weeks to 4-6 weeks! With an easier Open Enrollment selection process, Aflac saw higher participation rates for its products. Additionally, when employees can easily enroll in employee-provided benefits, they are better able to take care of themselves and their families. This is unique because what started as a pilot project between synergistic partners and UKG evolved into an ongoing partnership that builds value for UKG, their partners, and their customers.
